Patrícia Patrício

Patrícia Patrício has a diverse background spanning biology, health sciences, and business. She holds a degree in Applied Biology, a master’s in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine from NOVA University Lisbon, a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of Minho, and a postgraduate degree in Business Management. Following her Ph.D., she pursued postdoctoral research in collaboration with international universities, contributing to a portfolio of over 35publications in leading scientific journals and numerous presentations at both national and international conferences.

Patrícia is the co-founder of Bn'ML -Behavioral & Molecular Lab, a company she established in 2012 to provide specialized preclinical research services for drug and medical device development. Her professional training encompasses also entrepreneurship, project management, technology transfer, and clinical research.

In addition, Patrícia has served on the Board of the Portuguese Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) and B.Acis - Center for Health Innovation at the Medical School of the University of Minho from 2020 to 2024.

Since January 2020, she has been part of the executive team at Health Cluster Portugal, where she currently serves as Innovation Director, driving forward initiatives that bridge scientific research and health sector innovation.
